That's so the stays clear the panniers when they're on the rack! I got the bike, got the rack and fenders all set up, then put the bags on, andódoh! Had to come up with those crazy bends. They're symmetrical, so they don't look terrible...but it would look better if I had a bench vise to make the bends crisp. Whatever. It works.

    SPACE HORSE!

(Not that I'm partial or anything.)

Macho Man Disc would also rock. I did hear that next year's Space Horses are going to be disc...

Si, purtroppo. Mi piange il cuore vedere una specialissima montata Shimano. Ma capita...

    Adjectives after nouns!

    Cavallo spaziale...
    Biciclette verdi...

Willing to offer cycling-specific Italian language classes in exchange for good company, beer and good wine.

Oh, and thanks rcannon and KelOnWheels for acknowledging the soon-to-be-announced new official forum language. Discussing bikes in Italian is.so.much.better!

And just to keep things off-topic (sorry to the OP!), this was the start of every cycling race on Italian state TV (RAI!) in the 1980s...

You're wrong. I asked Google. Google told me that was the correct translation.

Yeah, Italians love their bikes almost as much as they love their Puccini (and Verdi).
