Do you have a dog? Do you want to improve the Mount Vernon Trail?
Well good news! The Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail are partnering with ALX Dog Walk and a portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will help fund continued efforts to remove invasive vegetation and plastic waste from the trail. The event is on April 20th and includes a 2 mile dog walk, a goodie bag, a judged doggie competition and a sustainability festival. If you don’t have a dog, you can still attend and pet hundreds of dogs.
