    Hi! Is there anyone riding Townie Path 9D EQ Step-Thru? If so, can you please share your opinions on this bike?

    I am looking at this bike online, trying to understand if my wife will like it. My concern is the weight (32 pounds), and I wonder if this bike handles easily. Also, my wife is an inexperienced beginner cyclist.

    Update: Ended up buying a 7D model due to the unavailability of 9D in the store. I hope to post more updates if there is interest.

    I gave her a test ride today. She rides smoothly and provides a comfortable upright sitting position. The lowest of seven speeds is good enough to climb small hills. At the highest speed, you can roll at about 10-11 miles per hour.
