My favorite pop culture reference to the number 11 is of course the amplifier scene from “,This is Spinal Tap” (turn it up to 11). So for a team name, I thought a reference to that movie would make a good team name: “Turn it up to 11”, “Smell the Glove” (something we all do in winter to determine when laundry is due), etc.

I was toying with references to 121 (Team 11 x 11 members) like Bacardi 121 but Crank It Up To 11 is much better and gets my vote.

I re-read the BAFS rules and there’s nothing about having Bob vet your team name for creativity. So, our team name will be “Up to Eleven̈”.
