I’m having my Achilles repaired on Tuesday and I’m supposed to be on the couch with my foot up for the next two weeks, so unfortunately we won’t be able to come. I’ll be reaching out to someone to help with a couple prizes (as soon as I figure out what I’m awarding).

Best wishes for a speedy recovery – thought it sounds like time is simply what is needed, no rushing.
Did they say anything about what movement may have caused this during your dismount? I’m assuming just the shocked/alarmed/tensed/stressed leaping from the bike, but was curious if there was a particular thing that could be identified as the culprit.

While not on any participating team for this year’s FS, I’ve been following along as a dedicated “Friend of FS”. This is my first ever winter of biking, and I’ve managed 764 miles so far since Jan. 1… so I should have no reason to repeat my dithering and procrastinating and fretting over whether to sign-up, when FS2020 comes around!

So, I think I will try and make it to the party as well!
