We’re back! Between our Clarendon and Georgetown shops, we have five weekly rides, and plenty of special events that will be announced for our new Crystal City location. Read on to find out what you can expect at each Revolution Cycles Group Ride!

All Revolution Cycles group rides require riders to wear a helmet, complete a ride waiver form, and are weather permitting.

Revolution Cycles group rides have a no-drop policy, which means that all riders will be led back to the starting point. Riders who are not yet comfortable operating their bikes, riding in traffic, or riding in large groups are encouraged to alert the ride leaders. We are happy to teach new riders and for the safety of the group, we ask that you let us know if you are new to the sport. The Prince William Park ride is an excellent opportunity to learn how to use a new bicycle, adjust fit and enjoy a stress-free course away from cars.

    CLARENDON
Sunday AM: Meet at 8:45am at the Clarendon store, ride at 9. All rider levels welcome; 30-mile roundtrip to Potomac, MD using public roads; 16-20 mph. The group may split based on the various skill levels of the riders.

Wednesday Hill Ride: Meet at 5:45pm at the Clarendon store, ride at 6. Our most challenging ride takes on the hills of north Arlington. The ride is usually 10 to 25 miles. We try to become better climbers as the season goes on.

Thursday Women’s Ride: Meet at 5:45pm at the Clarendon store, ride at 6. Women’s road ride; 12-15 miles on the streets of Arlington.

    GEORGETOWN
Sunday AM Road: Meet at 8:45am at the Georgetown store, ride at 9. 17-mile ride on paved trail; no-drop and slowest rider sets the pace.

Sunday AM Mountain: Meet at 8:00am at Wakefield. Join Alex from GT on Sunday mornings for ridiculously exciting mountain bike rides at Wakefield, weather permitting. Email alex@revolutioncycles.com for more info.

Wednesday ride sounds wonderful. That is a nice way to finish out my day. I love those hills. I’ll definitely partake of this one when my schedule allows.

    Thank you.
