I’m taking the easy way today. All mass transit is above ground out here. I did go through many underpasses on trails, but that was sort of bogus (although, I would have done that if all else failed).

Luckily, I spotted this sign while at my Circle K rest stop. It was the only one I saw the entire day.

A synonym for subway, and the very name of our own transit line in DMV, is “Metro”. Since I’m not in DMV and am in fact somewhere that has NO subway, I found this Metro instead. On a day when you’re short on time and short on subjects, you just check the box and pedal on!

I planned to take a picture of a Metro entrance but as I was riding past a Subway sandwich shop I saw a Metro truck parked in front of it and couldn’t help but go for the Inception moment.
