Good morning. This, from arlnow.com, today:
“Cyclist Struck on Busy Ramp — “Police, fire on scene of cyclist struck by driver on the WB Route 50 / Washington Blvd ramp. Cyclist was thrown from bike and is being treated by medics, per scanner.” [Twitter]”
Do not know which ramp, but this is not a fun or safe section to ride through, with *minimum* speeds of 45 MPH, and tight freeway ramps, one of which requires an exiting motorist to brake heavily, turn in, and downshift, all at once, with less than ideal sightlines.
Who knows more?
