I have been seeing a physical therapist for a knee issue who has been excellent, but she doesn’t know biking. I’m looking for guidance about how best to adapt my biking, and would love to consult with someone on this.
Additional background: the knee issue is “patella femoral syndrome” or runner’s knee. I used to pedal just by pushing down, even when clipped in, and that’s no good. I’ve been fiddling with different ways to pedal, and would like guidance on what’s best. Having someone see how I bike once clipped in would be great. I also need to purchase new biking shoes and would like guidance on what to look for them.
