Lobster gloves are great. SealSkinz makes a fab pair that are totally waterproof (note to self, tuck gloves UNDER sleeves otherwise water pours right into them== FUN) . On Rumi’s strong recommendation I have just bought a pair of battery warmed glove LINERS that are thin, flexible, and fit nicely into BarMitts. SO far so good but have not tested under truly freezing conditions. The batteries seem to last about 3 hours on medium, word to longer riders. I may carry an extra set of batteries so that I can run them on HIGH if needed.

This yearly reminder from Bike Arlington has some great perennial tips for cold weather cycling … except that you should skip the first tip about “set your limits” as that has no place in “Freezing Saddles” which is meant to obliterate perceptions of limits LOL
