I am excited to invite you to join us at Gearin’ Up Bicycles on Sunday, September 28th for our very first Volunteer Orientation.
As a volunteer with Gearin’ Up Bicycles, you will have the opportunity to learn bike mechanic skills, make some pretty cool friends, give back to the community through cycling, and help youth and adults connect to their city; not to mention have a whole lot of fun!
Gearin’ Up Volunteers help assemble the bikes we have for sale, prepare bikes for youth Earn-A-Bike programs, and can assist and support youth programming.
We would like you to to join us on the 28th! We will review our current programming and volunteer needs and expectations, start a detailed catalog of all of our inventory, and learn about bike parts and basic mechanic skills by disassembling bikes for parts.
We are very excited to be launching our volunteer army as we prepare to move into our indoor space. Please visit our eventbrite page to register and join us!
