    Just got a campaign ad in the mail that said: “John Foust voted to support putting $17 tolls on I-66 to fund bike paths in Arlington.” I thought, “Great, I’m glad Foust is promoting bike issues. I’ll vote for him!” Then I sadly realized it was an ad from his opponent using this as a reason to vote against him. :(

    I can’t even imagine how ecstatic I’d be if VDOT was actually planning to spend hundreds of millions of dollars in toll revenue on bike lanes–but it turns out that’s just politicians lying. :(

    The Fairfax and Loudoun GOP are really outdoing themselves this fall.
