I thought we could use a thread to post about bike stuff we covet.
I’ll start:

My brother-in-law just bought a Parlee Z3 to replace his Van Dessel. I am in the coveting stage.

My dream electric bike. Just need to add a rack somehow.
July 13, 2012 at 4:44 pm #945718DirtParticipantSomewhat vintage Colnago C40 with the custom Geo paint with 2012 Campy Super Record Ti components and Reynolds 3dvt carbon tubular wheels.
One of my first bike shop jobs when I was a kid was in a shop where the owner did all his own importing and bike builds. It was this crazy/awesome boutique shop in Denver that has been gone for 25+ years. His words still ring in my ears… “The only bike for you is a Colnago… buy the nicest you can find, put on the nicest campy components and ride it forever.”July 13, 2012 at 4:45 pm #945719KelOnWheelsParticipantJuly 13, 2012 at 4:47 pm #945720dcvParticipantJuly 13, 2012 at 4:53 pm #945722KelOnWheelsParticipantI’ll get right on that. You meant $14,99 plus 9.99, right?
July 13, 2012 at 4:59 pm #945723jrenautParticipantWhat I really want is a walk-out basement with room to keep another bike or ten. THEN I’ll start thinking about what bike I want next.
July 13, 2012 at 5:15 pm #945724DaveKParticipantAs said above – a house with a bike room (known to normals as a walk-out basement).
Then this – http://www.cervelo.com/en_us/bikes/2012/R5ca/
I came very close to buying an R3 last year even though I had already bought a frame and fork to build my current bike. Cervelo giving $1k off MSRP was a powerful incentive. Don’t know how much longer Cervelo will be making a premium product now that they’re a hair’s width from being owned by Conglom-o or whoever (bonus points if you catch that reference).

But good for Friday. (And thanks, I take this as a compliment).

That’s why we have a 2 car garage, although we only own 1 car. And why we made storage space our of the space under the landing of the staircase — perfect height for bikes, fits about 4.
Thanks for the links on a wishing-I-were-outside-all-day type of Friday.

A few years back there was an outfit in Texas building custom frames – Moyer Cylces: One of the frames had this beautiful criss-cross design for the seat stays:
