Hi FFS’ers (Future Freezing Saddlers), Jeff here, frequent (bad) captain.
Proteus Velo Club is having an informal discussion of winter riding gear tomorrow Saturday at 4pm at the shop, 9827 Rhode Island Ave in College Park MD. You don’t have to be a club member to attend. The discussion will probably more like some testimonials and a bunch of examples from veteran winter riders than an organized presentation, knowing us.
Anyway, I’ll be over there setting up around 330 probably, so please feel free to drop by and introduce. Pro tip: the coffee shop closes at 4pm, so if you want a hot caffeinated drink, come over a bit early.
Here’s the club page (always under construction, but has some basics): https://www.proteusbicycles.com/articles/proteus-velo-club-pg183.htm
Here’s directions — we’re at the top of the Prince George’s trolley trail, just inside the beltway. Ample bike and car parking. https://www.google.com/maps/dir//9827+Rhode+Island+Ave,+College+Park,+MD+20740/@39.0147637,-76.9550383,11257m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m9!4m8!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x89b7c40aeeaa e8bf:0x23bfde60e0027162!2m2!1d-76.9200188!2d39.0147022!3e1!5m1!1e3
