Chris King pewter color

Anyone have any CK components in pewter? I need to know if it’s a true metal gray or if there is any blue in it (like the Hope gunsmoke hubs – these were more blue-ish than gray).

They’re less blue than the Hopes, but they have a little bit of a purple hue. google images are pretty good at showing the color compared to what I’ve seen IRL.

The CK hubs and headset on my Soma are pewter. My recollection is they have a bit of a purple tinge to them. Lovely color. I can send pics when I get home if it will help.

I have a 10 year old pewter CK hub and a 15 year old pewter headset. I would call them blue tinted grey.

I get so confused nowadays in my old age that I often just think about spelling it “graey”, or maybe I should make it a proper diphthong… græy.
