    So, as typical with government contracts, I found out mine is “not being renewed due to budgetary constraints”… basically I’m expensive, and the first to go. Fortunately, it took me about 7 days to find a new job and accept the offer :) Unfortunately, it’s out in Bowie, I live in Bethesda…. it’s just no longer feasible to commute by bike. I hope I can still view the commuters forum at least :(

    thanks! I’ll check it out. I’ll probably ride it this weekend just to see what it’s like

    oh man, I just zoomed google maps in on that area, there is no way I want to ride that part! It looks like an area where I saw a news clip of a cyclist that got killed. I’ll need to avoid that for sure
