Hey ya’ll. I got excused from dad duties for the Final HH, so I’d like to convoy down with some folks for beers.
Looks like Boomer is leading a convoy at 515pm:

I volunteer to lead a convoy from the Cabi station near the Jefferson Memorial to ride to the HH via 14th Street Bridge ->MVT -> 4MR into Shirlington.
Meet up time: 5pm
Wheels roll: 5:15pm
ETA HH: <6PMAnyone want to roll earlier? I could be persuaded to meet at the Jefferson to head down at 4:15.

Do I want to roll earlier? Yes. Am I able to roll earlier? Not sure. If my wife can switch work-at-home days and get the kids from school on Friday then I can do 4:15. Will let you know ASAP.
If not, I will try to meet Boomer’s group. Failing that, I know how to get there on my own.
March 25, 2015 at 1:36 pm #1026728vvillParticipantHmmm, hot laps at Hains? Forecast says four is fine on Friday for me.
I’m most likely in for 4:15.
March 27, 2015 at 1:31 am #1026886jrenautParticipantI can’t make it early. I’m going to shoot for the 515 but don’t wait up for me.
March 27, 2015 at 3:20 am #1026892Bruno MooreParticipantBad news: the inimitable Rod Smith will be unable to attend.
Worse news: I, Brünø, will be taking his place and awarding the prizes he sponsored.
Awkward news: I won one of them. Unless you really want to see me try to award myself a prize (no, no you don’t), I’m going to need a volunteer who can muster an unusual amount of gusto.
March 27, 2015 at 10:43 am #1026896americancycloParticipantWhether or not I can make it early depends on the weather.
March 27, 2015 at 1:31 pm #1026916PhatboingParticipantAnyone convoying in from The West (i.e. Tysons and Wester)?
March 27, 2015 at 1:31 pm #1026918americancycloParticipantLooks like I’ll be rolling from Falls Church around 445pm if anyone’s interested in joining me for a ride down the WOD.

Maybe. I’m hoping to leave work way early to get home and pack all the goodies. If all goes well, I may be able to join. Slow down as you pass the Custis junction. I’ll assume you’ll roll by about 5:00, so if it’s later than that and I’m not there, keep going.

I’ll probably hit that junction a bit later – maybe 5.20-5.30.

Okay. If I miss americancyclo, I’ll probably wait. If no one is waiting, assume I either went ahead or I’m deliberately avoiding you.
March 27, 2015 at 2:25 pm #1026938GBParticipantIs anyone taking a tandum to HH with room for a stoker? Due to a fairly significant mechanical malfunction on Wednesday my bike is in the shop/basement and I’m stuck to the Orange/Silver metro line. PM me if this might work for you – thanks.

While I can’t help you out, I love that you can post this knowing it’s possible someone will say yes.

I’ve got a trail-a-bike you might be too big for…

OR…..
Maybe someone who lives close to a metro stop you can get to can loan you a 2nd bike for the trip to Shirlington. Seriously, I would do this if BOTH of my bikes were not in the shop right now (I’m already using a loaner).
Are you at work? Does anyone live near Ballston who can loan GB a bike? Or along the Orange Line where he can meet you?
