Geologist use a wide variety of techniques and tools to study and monitor volcanic eruptions.
PS- I know boring entry — because @drevil stole my idea. But more important, he got a better picture. (He also wanted to make I was safe and pushed me to stay far away from the eruption. 🤨)

Note: I had contemplated finding @drevil’s jug and adding Diet Coke and Mentos. But I just didn’t have time to stage that photo today. This is the best I could do 🤷♂️🌋

The Mclean Community Center (MCC) is home to the Alden Theater. During many of the various live performances the audience will ERUPT into laughter, applause, awe, gasps, or sobbing.
(Yes, the Kennedy Center in DC is a more photogenic building, but since I have a pesky cold (happily I do not feel the need to heave), visiting a local theater was within my grasp today.)3/15/2024
At the Whirligig Park, when the leaf blower erupts in noise, it is difficult to enjoy the spectacle of the whirligigs moving with the wind.
