Looking to mix it up and camp at Little Bennett instead of the C&O and looking for a ~40mi route from DC out there through MoCo. I’ve seen all the Bikepacking.com routes but those are pretty heavily singletrack focused and a bit longer distance than I’d like. Road riding is great, gravel and smooth dirt is great, technical and rocks and roots is not. I figure I’d start in DC and head up to Lake Needlewood via Rock Creek Park trail but don’t know the route from there.
