    Would anybody like to meet in Old Town to convoy to happy hour – probably MVT to 4MR? Slowish pace, no drop (Ha! Have you seen my speeds?), etc.

    What time are you thinking?

    I did tell Kathy I am able to come early to help out if needed, but I’m not sure if I’m needed, and never really clarified when “early” is. But I’ll be coming through Old Town and would enjoy company.

    Amy, I was thinking 5:30ish, but no worries – others can help if that doesn’t work well for you.

    I was thinking of leaving around 5:30 to get there around 6, but I could leave earlier. Leave City Hall around 5 to get there around 5:30?

    If MVT trail condition reports don’t improve I’ll probably head west to Braddock and then take Valley to Gunston to the hopefully not too treacherous ped bridge over 395.

    Works for me. If 4MR trail is really clear as people have been reporting, Commonwealth to 4MR should be an option also. I do not have studs, though, so if there is any question of ice on the trail, I’d just as soon stick to roads.

    I will be the short lady with the long ponytail in a light blue windbreaker. Probably on a black Tricross.

    So, 5pm? Commonwealth sounds good. scorchedearth, is there a good merge point for you?

    I’ll be wearing an orange shell, black rain pants, and a yellow helmet cover. Likely in the City Hall lobby trying to stay warm. :-)

    I’m leaving from the north end of Old Town, heading through Potomac yards and picking up 4MR from there. Hopefully I’ll see you guys along the way. I doubt I’ll be on the road much before 5:30 though. I have a new bright orange helmet! Maybe you’ll see me.

    I’d be best by Minnie Howard School or in Fairlington somewhere. However, if you guys are taking the ped bridge from Glebe, I’ll just meet you at the event.
