    Default Great family rides

Even though the Popocalypse seems to have been a lot of noise over not much disruption (though a heartfelt thank you goes out from all DC residents to all you MD and VA drivers who teleworked today - please do it more often), we decided it would be better to bike to soccer than drive. Our littlest is still on a 12" bike, so we threw it and her on the back of the longtail. The older one rode behind me, and my wife behind her. It's about 2.5 miles with some hills. We stuck to the sidewalks and everything went really well. And it's a gorgeous night for it. The ride home was equally nice (and mostly downhill), and we thought about how it really wasn't much slower than driving when you add in the time we saved by not having to search for a parking spot. I did forget to take any pictures.
