I live on a hill too. The end of my ride is always a workout.

At the time I bought my house, I didn't even know how to ride a bike - so naturally bike-friendliness of the neighborhood and such were not considerations for me at all.

As for my personal cyclist type: Beginner.

Ditto! I was not a biker when I bought my house at the penultimate street off of Walter Reed Drive. What a dumbass I am.

My description of myself as a biker: obsessed with n+1

Sine numero. (I hope I got the Latin correct. It's been a while.)

Inspired to ride by a swimmer. (True story.) Trained for some races in the past. Bike commuted on and off for the past several years.

    Currently?

Not really doing any formal athletic training now. Not really bike commuting either. But riding a lot. Doing what? Observing, taking in the sights, and also mapping bike racks for RackSpotter.

So swimming, triathlons, bike commuting but right now, mostly rackspotting. What's the term for this?

I'm the insufferably pedantic annoying jerk cyclist who corrects your English mistakes: http://begthequestion.info/

P.S. Those of you who liked this post stopped reading after "I'm in insufferably pedantic annoying jerk," didn't you?
