Bike to Navy Yard from Upper Marlboro MD

Is anyone interested in biking in from Bowie/Upper Marlboro MD?

Hi, I'm interested in teaming up to bike from Bowie to downtown.

Bowie to Archives (or Navy Yard, for that matter) isn't that bad. I've ridden most of those streets. The trip also comes within a short distance of pit stops at Greenbelt, College Park, and probably several others (I'll be riding from Greenbelt).

cclittle007, do you have a route in mind from Upper Marlboro?

ronwalf, thanks for the information. When I mapped the route, it has me taking 202 to 704, through Marvin Gaye Park and along Benning Rd south of Anacostia Park. I thought the Anacostia pit stop would be closest, but I could be wrong. Either way, this is my first BTW event and I'm excited about participating! Would love to ride with someone else though LOL.

Good morning, I'm planning to bike from Lake Arbor area to Navy Yard.
I'm planning to use 214 all the way to the Capitol Heights Pit stop (around 6:30-6:45 am):
Location: Maryland Park Bicycles Address: 101 Maryland Park Dr. Capitol Heights, MD 20743
Then continue 214 to East Capitol St NE to Benning Rd. NE to the Anacostia Riverwalk trail to M St. to Navy Yard metro.

If anyone is interested in meeting up in the Capitol Heights Pit stop, let me know!
