Community Meetings Set on Proposed Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has initiated a community outreach effort to receive input from the public on a proposed list of prioritized bicycle and pedestrian improvements countywide.

The Loudoun County Office of Transportation Services (OTS) has scheduled three community meetings to obtain public input on the proposed countywide bicycle and pedestrian accommodations priority list.

OTS staff will make a presentation at each meeting, to be followed by public input. The three interactive sessions will be identical in format and are being offered in separate locations on different dates to increase the opportunities for county residents to attend at least one of the meetings. The meetings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the following dates, at the following locations:

  • Thursday, June 23, 2011: Guilford Elementary School, 600 West Poplar Street, Sterling
  • Monday, June 27, 2011: Mill Run Elementary School, 42940 Ridgeway Drive, Ashburn
  • Wednesday, June 29, 2011: Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, S.E., Leesburg

RSVPs are appreciated. Please contact OTS at 703-737-8624 or by e-mail at ots@loudoun.gov. If you require any type of reasonable accommodation to participate in these meetings as a result of a physical, sensory, or mental disability, please contact OTS. Three days notice is requested.
