I finally found the only e-bike I will tolerate on the bike trail, the 1881 Trouve Electric Tricycle:

Beautiful work and amazing history -- but fully self-powered locomotion, vs pedal-assist on MVT? Tut-tut!
(It sure doesn't look like a comfy, or well-handling ride...!)

This week Lime launch their new ebike for their DC Bikeshare fleet
http://dlvr.it/SH04ps
This article in the Verge claims improvements despite the bike weighing 72lb and having only 2-speed gearing which is slightly heavier but with a narrower gear range than the red Jump bikeshare ebikes these new Lime ebikes will replace. They can share batteries with Lime scooters which according to Lime is why they’re better for the company, time will tell if sharing batteries makes it more likely a rider can find a charged bike.
February Update: Welp! my bike is in the shop for major surgery and it looks like I'll be riding either CaBi+ or the new Lime ebikes for the next couple of weeks

I had to replace the Nexus 8 IGH on my DIY e-bike because it broke, so I had Papillon Cycles fit an Enviolo Cargo hub. I wrote a blog post about the process https://ebikelovers.com/2022/03/28/r...t-for-e-bikes/
