    Maybe it's the existential internal clash of being part of a secret organization but also wearing a conspicuous uniform out in public. That has never seemed very secret to me.

    In my experience, the Uniformed Secret Service is the biggest bunch of glorified rent-a-cops I've ever had the misfortune of seeing overstep their nonexistent authority. They make Paul Blart, Mall Cop look like Joe Friday.

    From that article:

    "Riding too slowly

    If there is no bike lane, keep up with the speed of cars, or ride close to the right-hand curb. Bike law doesn't specify how close."

    What does that even mean? Is 4 inches close enough? 4.63 inches? 5.28 inches?
