Default Wilson Bridge Trail no longer plowed?

The Wilson Bridge Trail was being plowed only on Maryland side this morning. Is this the new policy at Maryland Nat'l Capital Parks and Planning (@MNCPPC)? I tweeted at them so maybe I'll get a response. When last I asked, they did the trail plowing even though Maryland SHA is responsible for the bridge and trail.

I talked to a plow operator and he was told to plow only the trail on the Maryland side, not the bridge itself. That this trail is plowed in the winter (but not salted making it work great with snow tires), giving me a reliable commute, was one reason that I was willing to go car free.

Update: I didn't hear back from MNCPPC or VDOT, but did see that the bridge itself was being plowed yesterday afternoon. The bridge has been plowed and the trail on the Maryland side, including the overpass and the ramp down to the beginning of the bridge, has been plowed and salted. This morning, the bridge had a thin layer of snow and ice on it was rideable with studded snow tires.
