Default Army Navy Country Club Security

Has anyone encountered any problems commuting from 18th St to Army Navy Drive via Memorial Dr? Your experience is appreciated!

I've ridden the opposite direction a few times without incident but not with the regularity of a commute.

Wear white pants and shoes and put this behind your bike.

Is it still the case that one can occasionally dart through here? I try to avoid doing this but it would make some nights a lot easier.

The road has been open the several times I've done in the past couple months. Never saw security, and the landscaping guys just gave me a nod.

I biked through this afternoon for the first time. They don't seem to have any security at the gates. I don't know what hours the gates are open though; that is, I don't know if they are open after dark. May wish to check their website first. During the day I don't see how it would ever be an issue biking through.

Stick to the road though! The wide "bike path" next to the road is for the golf carts.
