It doesn't appear to be out of the ordinary compared to fitter cyclists, but to me it falls into the "you might be going too fast for the trail you're on" category that many pathletes also occupy.
Are there really that many cyclists holding 30 mph?

So the one that hit me (at 3:09) was a stereotype?

Yes, but well earned. I do the vast majority of my riding in Virginia, and it is amazing how much bad driving I see adorned with MD War of 1812 tags.

Black SUVs are a menace no matter what tags they have.

Damn straight! Being savaged on the forum is certainly a fate worse than serious personal injury or even premature death.

Don't get me started on any internet claims you've made on the speed in which you can solve a Rubik's Cube...

    There's a few lessons here:
    1. Don't be a dick when you're riding your bike.
    2. If you are going to be a dick on your bike, don't use Strava.
    3. If you are a dick on a bike using Strava, don't use a profile pic that you've used on other sites that include your real name, work history and other information that makes you easily googleable.
    4. If you didn't follow the first 3, don't post stuff that can be verified as exaggerations at best or things that can easily be ridiculed.
    5. Life is much less complicated when you don't act like a dick.

So whatever happened in the end to the driver who hit you? I know you reported it to the police. Did his/her insurance company ever contact you?
