65 miles, 12 (great!) trails?

So most Saturdays I lead the Proteus 10am shop ride. I'm thinking about this loopy loop route for tomorrow:

10am gather
10:15am depart Proteus
10:40-ish pass Shortcake Bakery
11:30-ish Quick lunch and stock up at Potbellys 7th and PA ave NW (actually on Indiana Ave just next to the sports bar)
12pm-ish Passing Jefferson memorial on our way to the 14th street bridge
12:15-ish Gravelly Point
and then on to the W&OD, back around the Custis,
back to the Jefferson, up Ohio drive and along the waterfront to the CCT,
We'll probably hit downtown Bethesda around 2pm or 2:30?
And back to Proteus around 3:30 or 4, depending on our pace.

We may make additional coffee or snack stops along the way, so in general rides tend to go a little slower than planned, but we'll definitely return before dark!

Plus this will be a small ride, and if by acclamation we decide to cut the return short or take an alternate route, sometimes happens...

Thanks for the ride, Jeff! I got a bunch of PRs trying to keep you in sight when you dropped the hammer on the CCT. The bike trails were beautiful in their fall colors. Nice turnout and glad to see a couple of the shop rats were let out to play.
