I noticed that too, but if it makes even some people slow down (why some people slow down for these signs escapes me...not like they can issue tickets) then I won't complain. Like I said, I think the crosswalks in front of the Rite Aid and the Market should be turned into speed tables, but I can't imagine VDOT ever doing that.

Well, do you slow down for guiltometers when you are on your bike?

I just noticed the speed gauge on the CCT. When you accelerate to 20, a white light goes on. What happens at 25? Does a laser shoot you dead?

The speed signs in Westover have been replaced. These signs may actually be more useful:

    Yield to Pedestrian [sic].

But which one do I yield to if there is more than one crossing the street at the same time. You can't possibly mean I need to yield to all of them?! Can you?

Default Mulligan Road Side Path Complete!

Just noticed this on my ride today: the wide paved side path running along the west side of Mulligan Road between Telegraph Road and Pole Road (shown here: https://goo.gl/maps/aUkr5 ) is fully complete! The trail is very nice, albeit with a hill to climb both ways (some on this forum would call that a feature), and you avoid riding in traffic with a 40 mph limit. The finished trail is great for those looking to make a connection between the MVT/Mount Vernon Memorial Highway and the Telegraph/Beulah bike lanes without having to pass through a checkpoint.

One word of caution, though: if you're heading south at the intersection of US-1/Todd Way/Mt Vernon Memorial Highway, the sensor does not detect bicycles, and the light cycle will skip you unless you use the pedestrian crosswalk with beg button or a vehicle is waiting to go south in the straight lane.
