Someone should buy that lumberjack a beer next week. I roll through here most days and don't find the entrance and exit angle to be problematic on the south end. It's a bit sharp on the north end, but there's some constraints there with utility poles and the fenced gas pipes that would make the bridge twice as long to get around. Only sightline issue is the junction with Eads where the new fencing makes it a little bit harder to see folks similar to how the sewer plant fence creates a blind corner.
The decking appears to be a composite material. Interesting choice since this material is generally more durable and more expensive than wood and my understanding is this bridge will be torn down in ~3 years when the project is done. Info on slip resistance of wood versus composite was all over the map the last time I did research on it, with some data showing certain models of decking being as good or better than wood and some showing worse.

At the Dominion site on Glebe, it seems that the cone and barrel that had provided some warning that a curb face was in your future have been removed.
This crap shouldn't be so damned hard.

There is traffic on the West Glebe bridge. Sidewalk lanes on both the upstream and downstream sides of the bridge are still closed. Detour at the end of the bridge now has cross traffic.
