All good here, thanks for asking. Landfall was ~200 miles to the west of New Orleans. The other side of the state is in a world of hurt.

It's really bad. This was their Katrina - and the storm was actually more powerful than Katrina. Strongest hurricane to ever hit Louisiana. A huge part of the western part of the state is without power (well over 500k homes/businesses) all the way up to Shreveport. I've got family in Shreveport and Laura rolled in there as a strong one this afternoon. They lost part of their fence and are without power and consider themselves lucky.
Lake Charles is just devastated.
