A few pics from yesterday's ride home. It was sunny on the So. Cap St. Bridge (where I was) and in Arlington (behind the clouds), but rainy in southwest DC. You can see the lines of rain coming down from the clouds.

I was just riding along when a bollard jumped out in front of my trailer wheel pushing the fender against the rubber.


Quick fix. I haven't use toe clips since the 20th century, but I carry a toe strap. It comes in handy.

I stopped at the Apple store and picked up an OlloClip lens for my Iphone. The attachment gives you a wide angle, macro, and a really cool fisheye lens... took this shot on my commute home yesterday, works pretty well. *Warning: will not hide British teeth!

The weather gods decided to tone down the wind and cold, so my post-work fun ride into DC this evening was quite enjoyable (even the crazy traffic wasn't too bad). It was kinda fun when I passed an entire segway tour on the PA Ave cycletrack. The next week should be more spring-like during the day but still cold at night.
