As I got to the lake I started to encounter lots of hikers, but I didn't take their pictures.

    Default Garmisch-Partenkirchen Day 3

The century ride day. I had to adjust my planned route because I encountered a "no bike" sign on route 179 at Reutte, Austria as I was trying to get to Fussen and the castles. I didn't have map, so could check for alternatives and just defaulted to where my route would have come back from Fussen.

I planned an easy recovery day today playing on gravel, but ran into another "no bikes" sign so back to the cycle path to Klais.

Eibsee under the Zugspitze. OMG... I was there, as a child, many decades ago. Click image for larger version.

I was in this area in the 1970s. What a wonderful and interesting area. Was in a "where would you like to go back and ride" conversation recently and this area came up. Thanks for posting!
