@SarahBee strapped on wings at mile 80 which I am not convinced were ICU compliant; I was too knackered to muster a smile at the finish line; we arranged for @BeachFelipe to receive therapy after the ride but not sure it got to the root of his disturbance; it was the first time that I followed a farm tractor as the pace vehicle to kick off an organized ride!

Strava doesn't lie...and neither does the scale...I actually gained weight on the #farmtoforkfondo ride (which had nothing to do with I scream, you scream, we all scream for whoopie pies;-)

It didn't seem that bad, but I see what you mean. This was by far the best signed ride I have ever been on. Cue sheets were unnecessary.

    More pictures:

The banquet the night before, featuring foods from all the farms. We met other riders from all over (NY, Chicago, NJ, DC, ...) and some of the farmers.

I've had these gloves forever, and they are the only ones I can wear for really long rides and not get some numbing. So I keep them in a special place and bring them out only when I'm riding a metric century or longer. Not sure how many more rides they have in them.

Cows are the BEST! And Sarah Bee is correct. Mustard is WAY better (tasting) than pickle juice for bike riding nutrition.

Stopped by New Quarter Park and Freedom Park in Williamsburg on my way home from Norfolk. This vid is from the second park.

ID:	15344 This train station is no longer in use, instead there is a set of "modern" platforms about 200 meter down the track.

For some reason, the embedded video doesn't show up on my computer, but it did show up in Tapatalk. Here's a link in case anyone else couldn't see the video:
