Got the tires a bit dirty on the first ride

I just realized it's a singlespeed. Nice! I used to ride singlespeed/fixie exclusively for 15 years, but my ol' body (mostly heart) can't take it anymore

Are you using a phone or camera for your pics? If the latter, what kind and how do you carry it?

Firefly density was a little low last night.

    Sony A6500 with Sigma 16mm 1.4
5 shots stacked, F5, ISO 100, and between 42-62 seconds exposure.

(I'm not a real camera person so I'm not sure I said it all correctly )

I love SS. Sold off my last fixie in Summer 2018 before I had settled on moving here. Totally regretted it once arriving because this town is perfect for it. When Salsa released this bike, I had to have it. I forgot how much I love the quiet drivetrain and the immediate power transfer of a SS.

Most often, I carry a camera (Sony RX10) in a small slingbag. On some rides (like yesterday), I just use my phone and keep it in one of the Revelate Feedbags.

I'm looking for a small point/shoot with good zoom range to drop in one of the feedbags so I can eliminate carrying the bag. Haven't found one, for a decent price, that I like yet.

First a flashback to 10 days ago when the Mississippi was running at about 13.5'

And now today.....after an almost 4' drop (last observed height was 9.63' @ 5pm). Much friendlier looking as hurricane season rolls on:
