Saw at LIDL grocery store in Fairfax two items of interest to cyclists:

1 - Repair stand for $40, seems of reasonable quality. It looks like this and has a tool tray(Black/Blue):

I have a similar one, purchased at Aldi ($29), after seeing a recommendation by someone on the forum. It works great for normal maintenance.

I just bought a merino wool base layer on sale from REI (original suggestion from Karen, coffee club affirmed the wisdom of it)

I just bought a merino wool base layer on sale from REI (original suggestion from Karen, coffee club affirmed the wisdom of it)

SmartWool base layers and socks were a game changer for winter cycling. REI usually has good deals on them near the end of winter when they are trying to clear inventory.
