I think it's easy to take matching to the extreme and have it be too much...so I'd vote for silver rims, silver headset, black tires, white cable housing, and white hoods...maybe also just silver hubs. I'd also say white bar tape to match the white saddle, but I tend to dislike just about anything other than black or white tape.

Ahh yes, good point. If I do white tape/saddle I will be in compliance with Rule 8 subsection 1 and subsection 3. If I opt for colored tires I will also comply with subsection 2. I think.

Exactly what I was going to post. The white hoods and tape will really set it off, but colored rims would be too much.

If you wanted to do something fun (and you're going to lace your own wheels) you could throw one blue spoke in the front and one red spoke in the rear amongst the silver.

I will be building my own and that is a nice idea. I'm leaning now toward silver rims, but I do love colored hubs.

I agree with TwoWheels. You don't want to go overboard on matching; a little restraint goes a long way otherwise it will be color overload. I'd do some combination of white, black, silver for the rest of the components except perhaps colored rims.

I think less matching would be a good thing. Black tires. Silver rims (and hubs). White hoods and tape to go with the saddle.
