Interesting. A very important point of order to me, actually. I know bikeMD is more Baltimore oriented, but wasn't really aware that WABA was that deeply involved with MoCo. Being as I'm already a WABA member, this is excellent news. I'd like to hear more about how I can help advocacy in my county.

Glad I posted that, then! WABA does quite a bit of work in MoCo, and is MoCo is ably represented on our board by a number of MoCo residents. You might also find the document we debuted at the Regional Call to Action Summit worth a read. As a WABA member, you should be getting MoCo-specific action alerts when issues needing a bit of public support arise. Happy to chat more about this.

I do get those, and read the newsletters and other emailings that come out. I was impressed with the work that was done to convince MoCo to fill the bike coordinator position. I'll look over the call to action, and keep the MoCo tag bookmarked. I'm happy to help where help is needed, so I'm happy to chat about it too. Is there someone specifically in charge of MoCo "stuff" I should contact?
