The snowmaggedens were late 2009 and early 2010. There was snow in winter 2010-2011, just no "maggedons". Last winter (2011-2012) was blistfully (almost) snow-free.

The 12-hour traffic jam snow was in early 2011, so we actually had two winters in a row with Snowmaggedons.
