    That's because you're a third wheel.

    Groan.......you are evil!!!!!!!!

Actually, to be technically correct, I am sometimes a two wheeler (though not intentionally). Gotta watch those curves.

Anyone ever lose a tail light? Got to my work rack to find mine had fallen off. Retracted my route only to find it crushed

Last time I did laundry I came back to find a red blinking light whirring around in the washer machine. My light had been sitting on the bed when I pulled the sheets off and Ended up in the wash. Amazingly it made it through a full cycle and still works.

Rockford dropped hers once and I rode out and found it in the grass. I was surprised.

ALL THE FREAKING TIME. I go through 2-3 a year it seems. I never find them once they're gone.

I found upgrading to more expensive versions (e.g $20 ones vs the $5 ones), and then verifying every few weeks it's still screwed on or otherwise attached helps keep them with me longer. Some of the cheaper ones can't handle too many bumps or jostles before coming loose on my bike, or otherwise breaking in some other obnoxious way. I also have one that uses an elastic band vs a clamp, which is actually holding up better than anything else I've used so far.

Stock up on cheap ones during bike to work week and when Arlington/Crystal City give them away around Daylight Savings times. I always keep a spare with me for when mine inevitable falls off or breaks. Worst case those small blinky lights they give away also do well in a pinch.

This is one of the things I like about the "moguls" on the Custis. I'm always finding stuff there.

    Default Classy Cyclist

To the gentleman who was kind enough to tow me from Vienna to Arlington this morning at a very brisk pace. Thank you!

I like your riding style; nonetheless your high steady cadence pace. I will keep an eye on your classy Spectrum bike next time I see you.

    Salute!
