what is with the latest trend of riders going the wrong direction around Hains Point? seen it everyday the last two weeks but rarely ever before that. surprised to see the park police do nothing about it.

I've no idea why people behave like idiots, but on the other hand, I don't want to see the park police noticing cyclists at all at HP, if you know what I mean.

Iíve spent a lot of time at HP. This is not a recent phenomenon. I think some folks donít realize itís a one way until theyíve started down the road, some view it as being in a park so itís okay, some donít think that rules of the road donít apply when youíre on a bike, some are clueless, some follow the bad advice given to pedestrians to walk against the flow of traffic and some just donít give an F.

That's the correct thing to do if you're a pedestrian on a road, it's only horribly wrong if you're on a bike or a pedestrian on a trail.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but "they" are the ones who make the rules, no?

Screw the rules, I just worry about what makes sense and is safe. :P

It was a two Geese Gauntlet day. Only one had a stubborn, hissing goose, but both required lots of geese to move.

Third sighting this week of someone in full tri mode, tucked down in the aerobar position, at 8 a.m. on the CCT.

    Just, no.
