There were a ton more people - cyclists and runners - on my commute. That 50 degree forecast really got 'em out.

Pleasant commute, although the legs felt like molasses this AM.

I also saw quite a number of riders and runners out this AM. Even convoyed across IoD with another three (rarely happens to be that many, at least for me).

A question: it was significantly warmer this AM than yesterday. Why did I feel so cold then?

Anybody know why they didn't finish the trail on the DC side of the NW Branch between Route 1 and 38th Street in Brentwood? They added this trail when they raised the levee for flood control, but wondering why they didn't extend all the way to Route 1. I've been taking this side of the river because they're doing utility work on the other side where the NW Branch trail goes through.

They had to reserve that section for the grass-skiing community.

More likely as I think about it they didn't want to have to deal with state highway administration to cut the guard rail or something.

I have a new adage. Generalizations are always a bad idea.

I'll file that one with "eschew obfuscation."

That would be like ten or fifteen, right? 2000 pounds.

Indeed. Exactly 13.986 Vincenzo Nibalis or 15.625 Nairo Quintanas.
