    Default Haven't ridden in DAYS

Legs fine...head fine...bike(s) fine. I want to ride, and I've had the time. So what's the problem?

I was doing yard work last week and shoveling like crazy...my hand starts to hurt under my glove...pull glove off and there is a quarter-sized patch of skin missing from my palm!! And I had not really even noticed.

Talk about the most inconvenient spot for an injury. And all because of this stupid hand injury I can't ride. I tried a day or two after with a bunch of bandages and padding...nope, turned into a complete mess, and it made it worse and delayed recovery I-don't-know-how-many days. Finally it is starting to heal over and I should be able to ride soon.

Oh, and I tell people I'm bearing the stigmata (am I going to hell for that?). That's all for my epic (non) ride report.

    Danger Panda Century.

Seriously though.... That sucks! It should just take a day or two for that to heal up enough that you can ride. Rock on!!!!

    No.

This kid in my neighborhood rides a Mountain Unicycle and when I see him he likes to tell me about the latest upgrades. It's all I can do to keep from breaking down crying.

Well...that's what I've been forced to do. It is nice and calloused up now.

We used to use this when I ran track. Newskin. Ha! The cover picture is a cyclist. Nasty stuff and stings a bit to apply - we would use it on blisters, to put a protective coat on. It works pretty good.

I think the answer is pretty obvious.... cement over the yard and build a mini velodrome.... done!
