I always hear about the promises and plans of a new bridge or trail but it’s awesome when you see it.
Thank you to the U.S. Rep. Jim Moran (D-8th) and Supervisor Catherine Hudgins (D-Hunter Mill).

Cool. I've been seeing the new bridge from below and wondering if it was a new path.
In theory I could ride to Wolf Trap from the Vienna Community Center but so far I can't come up with a route that doesn't involve some sketchy, twisty two-lane roads. The new bridge helps a lot though.

Its not bad (I ride many of these roads on my various Reston/Great Falls loops). Trap/Beulah/Clarks Crossing/Percussion and then through the neighborhoods to church st to the W&OD is probably the easiest. For a bit longer, you could do trap to Bois, Montmorency to the end, the path through to Palm springs dr into the neighborhood, cross old courthouse wherever and get to fairway, to east st across 123, echols to the wod.
