Anyone interested in a 160 mile one day ride across US 40 from Terre Haute to Richmond? Ride starts at 7 am and route closes at 9 pm.

I might be tempted. The longest ride I've done in one "sitting" was 120 miles, and it was in DC/MD/VA with quite a bit of elevation. The best average speed I've logged in a century is a nearly 18mph average (Cannonball Century, Fredericksburg, Va. area.)

I'm still on the fence with this, don't know if I'm in shape to complete in the time allotted. I would combine this with a family visit, so can't carpool, but could share hotel the night before/after ride.

RAIN is not for me (at least this year.) It's a three-four day commitment.
