There is also a CaBi station on the trail just south of the brewery if you're feeling lucky

Then Q dead ends into Florida. I generally take the south sidewalk on Florida and cross North Cap at the light. Q continues just north of the Florida/North Cap intersection (so you need to cross Florida AND North Cap).
Continue on Q a few blocks until it dead ends. Ride up onto the little plaza and take a left on the MBT trail. Just past the RIA Metro, City State is on your left. You'll see signs as well as the bike rack on the left side of the trail. Take the stairs up and go right.
The bike rack is likely to be full very quickly, there's more parking upstairs. I suspect there will be a mass of bikes locked together as there's no way the bike parking will accommodate all attendees.
Thanks so much!

And a (usually) less popular one on the other side of the train tracks in case the trailside one is full.

Another alternative route (that I find less stressful but I acknowledge I'm not a representative sample) would be cross the Mall to the MBT. To do that, you would turn right (east) onto Jefferson from the cycletrack on 15th. Take Jefferson along the mall all the way to 3rd. From there, you can take sidewalks/side paths to the light at 1st and Constitution, and take the sidewalk on Louisiana to Columbus Circle. Take a quick left, and then cross at the light to get onto the cycletrack on 1st NE, which is the MBT. You can take that around M Street, and up the ramp at the NoMa Metro to stay on the MBT, then head north until you arrive at City State.
The bike rack is likely to be full very quickly, there's more parking upstairs. I suspect there will be a mass of bikes locked together as there's no way the bike parking will accommodate all attendees.
If the bike racks along the MBT are full and you don't want to haul your bike up the stairs, you can ride around to the additional parking by turning left onto 8th when you reach it by Dew Drop, then another left onto Edgewood until you reach the other side of City-State. That's the blue line on the attached image, which also shows the two CaBi stations nearby (labeled "C") and the primary bike racks for City-State (labeled "B"), though as Jon said, I imagine a lot of people will just have their bikes along the fence.

Do you think they would mind if I brought in a box of matzoh, maybe some other things? - it will still be Passover, and I don't know if there will be anything I can eat.
It appears I will not be able to partake of any alcoholic beverages available there either, but I don't expect a brewery will want me bringing in cider or mead.
Sorry for not catching this sooner.
