MLK Day of Service on the Mount Vernon Trail

Volunteer on the Mount Vernon Trail for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 16th. We'll be attacking a large patch of kudzu near the power plant in Alexandria that grew over the trail edge multiple times last year and has started growing into some mature trees along the trail.

For those of you volunteering for this Day of Service, which I endorse, you are welcome to join the MLK Pancake Club post-ride lunch at Blue Jacket. We expect to arrive there by 1 or slightly earlier, about perfect for riding over after finishing up kudzu-battling on the MVT.
