Lightbulb Bike to Work Month Fair Thursday May 3 12th & D St SW

I am the Bike Coordinator for the FCC. We are planning a Bike Fair for Thursday May 3 as a part of Bike to Work Month and as a prelude to Bike to Work Day. The Fair will be from 11 to 2 pm in the courtyard of the FCC, which is at 12th & D st. There will be members of different bike organizations there, information from agencies on bike commuting and benefits, and of course swag. There might even be cake!

I am hoping that federal agencies in the neighborhood will join in on the festivities. I have already heard from a few who will advertise the event and plan on attending.

Let me know if you would be interested in joining in on the festivities - helping to publicize and what not. You can email directly at rcannon100 at yahoo.

Would any of the Bike Stores or Coops care to participate in the May 3 bike fair? It will be at the FCC in SW DC, in our courtyard which is the lunchtime area - very visible. We have participating NPS, WABA, FABB, goDCgo, and of course FCCycle. Please let me know if you might like to join us. You can email directly at rcannon100 at yahoo.
